News flash: FIIT has a new home. We’ve joined forces with two of the UK’s leading residential development providers, Vertus and Cortland Living UK, to elevate residential living through the power of next-gen connected workouts.
United by the common goal of improving mental and physical wellness, together we’re helping make fitness a habit for every body. Here’s how the FIIT Platform, our new hybrid digital fitness solution, is adding value, driving engagement and fostering community for residents up and down the land.

High-rise demand
For the residential market, cost-effective amenities that go beyond housing have become a non-negotiable to attract and retain residents. The shift towards remote work accelerated by the pandemic has driven demand for flexible, digital fitness solutions, particularly among Millennials and Gen Z demographics (over 50% globally).
“Most Gen Zs monitor their workouts with wearables either their personal wearable (56%) or a monitor provided during GX classes.”
Now, by integrating the FIIT Platform within their current service offerings, over 2,000 residents have unlimited access to thousands of workouts from strength and cardio to rebalance and bike, which can all be enjoyed at home, in on-site gyms, or on the go.
“The residential market is undergoing significant change, with developers increasingly prioritising innovative wellness solutions as a key differentiator. At FIIT, we recognise that providing value-added amenities is a successful tool for attracting and retaining tenants. Our all-in-one digital fitness solution is designed to meet evolving consumer demands, offering a bespoke, seamless digital experience that enriches the quality of residential living” — Jamie Bantleman, FIIT Sales Development Manager
FIIT Virtual Studios
A key component of the partnership with Vertus is the roll-out of three FIIT Virtual Studios across two sites. Each studio is equipped to run a daily schedule of boutique-style connected group workouts led by world-class trainers – all accessible at the touch of a button.
10 George Street now boasts a newly-built bespoke 367 sq ft boutique immersive studio, designed in partnership with Solo60. Setting a new standard in the residential market, residents can track live performance metrics on screen for added gamification, further enhancing the group workout experience.
The full schedule is run via the newly developed FIIT Studio App. This plug-and-play solution enables operators to programme FIIT Virtual workouts and Trainer Supervised sessions, optimising the gym floor for their residents’ needs.
“FIIT was the ideal partner to deliver a premium and flexible digital fitness experience for our residents. By incorporating the FIIT Studio app as an in-gym solution and unlocking access to the FIIT app, we ensure our residents get access to an unrivalled workout experience. This partnership guarantees expertly-led group instruction and flexibility, allowing residents to work out whenever and wherever they choose.” — Freya Richard, Director of Leasing and Operations.

Purpose-built for fitness operators of all sizes, the studio app is a cost-effective way to enhance the capabilities of fitness facilities, delivering engaging connected group workout experiences and community engagement tools across multiple sites.
Residents at 10 George Street will also get exclusive access to a FIIT Virtual Rebalance Studio focussing on yoga, pilates and barre classes. While at Newfoundland, a FIIT Virtual Bike Studio is in operation, each with a tailored schedule reflective of resident preferences and needs.
Moving across the U.K.
Launching its UK flagship scheme earlier this year, Cortland Living at Colliers Yard, Manchester, rolled out two new resident-only FIIT Virtual fitness suites (Bike and Rebalance) to enhance its new on-site state-of-the-art fitness facilities. A second Birmingham site at Broad St has also been signed, with an additional multi-discipline FIIT Virtual studio.
“We are now positioned to deliver a hybrid fitness offering and are thrilled to collaborate with FIIT to enhance our UK developments, with the integration of the FIIT Platform. Flexibility is key today, and now all our residents can experience FIIT’s world-class workouts from their apartment, the studio, or the gym floor.” — Jack McFarlane, Cortland Living Development Project Manager.
A hybrid solution
Core to FIIT’s mission has been to make fitness accessible to all and with these new initiatives, we’re empowering more people to work out anytime, anywhere, on their terms. With full access to the FIIT App, Vertus and Cortland Living residents have the choice to work out in their apartment, on the gym floor or wherever their fitness journey takes them.
These partnerships also underpin FIIT’s commitment to enhancing the residential living experience by enabling partners to tap into innovative, accessible and community-driven fitness solutions, while continuing on its mission of making fitness a habit for everybody.

The FIIT Platform is available globally, including international markets such as the U.S., Canada, the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and Australia. For more information, contact the team.
